How to export/publish a video project so I can upload it

This is the Mash Pit Comedy process for exporting a video from a Widescreen (16:9) or Non-widescreen (4:3) Windows Movie Maker project:
Please note these instructions may differ slightly depending on what version of Windows Movie Maker you are using.
- Download and install the Mash Pit Comedy movie settings for Windows Movie Maker. Click here to download then double click the downloaded file to install the settings.
- Go to File / Save Movie File.
- The Save Movie Wizard window will appear. Select the first option, My Computer - Save your movie for playback on your computer. Then click Next.
- In the first box 1: Type a name for your exported video file. e.g. 'roller derby gorilla'.
- In the second box 2: Browse for a location on your computer where you want to save your exported video file. Click Next.
- Movie Setting box appears. Select Other Settings and select the relevant Mash Pit Comedy setting from the drop-down list that best suits your project.
If your project is widescreen choose Mash Pit Comedy Widescreen (16:9)
If your project is non-widescreen and you want to export your video at that aspect ratio, there is a setting called Mash Pit Comedy Non-Widescreen (4:3).
- After selecting the setting that best suits your video click Next.
- Windows Movie Maker will now export your video file to the folder you selected on your computer.
- Congratulations grasshopper! You’re now ready to upload your comedy to Mash Pit Comedy!
